Theodore Frank Zappia

Theodore Zappia "Teddy" Zappia died peacefully in Raleigh, NC on October 15th at the age of 71. Teddy was born on January 18th in Jamaica Queens, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents Natale and Philomena Zappia. Teddy is survived by his children and their families, Terri Zappia Frazer (husband David, son Duncan and daughter Lorelei) of Raleigh, NC, Natale Zappia (wife Jennifer, daughter Olivia and son Aidan) of Santa Monica, CA, Nicole Zappia Hluboky (husband Adam, daughters Addison and Julia and son Logan) of Knightdale, NC and Danielle Zappia Stipes (husband Chris and son Joseph) of Wendell, NC, He is also survived by siblings Frank Zappia, Natale Zappia, Jr. and sister Marie Marra as well as many nieces and nephews all of Long Island, NY. He was a longtime resident of Elmont, NY where he was a career electrician and a member of IBEW Union 25. In his later years he enjoyed spending his time in the mountains of upstate NY. Teddy moved to Zebulon, NC to be closer to his children and grandchildren and spent his last years sharing his love of the outdoors with them. Events Details are pending.
