Mrs. Sarah Barnes Chappell affectionately known as "Jean" passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh. Arrangements are slated for Saturday, June 1, 2024 beginning with 11 AM Viewing & Visitation followed by the 12 Noon Celebration of Her Life Ceremony at Red Hill United Church of Christ. The Church is located at 10412 Buffalo Road, Clayton, NC 27527. The Burial will take place at Selma Memorial Gardens immediately following the Funeral ceremony.
