Robert “Bob” Bloor of Angier, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Bob was the son of the late Edward and Louise
(Mitten) Bloor. He grew up in Hamilton Township and graduated from Steinert

He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sargeant.

earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rider University. He went on to
build a successful 40-year career as a corporate Credit Manager with Caldwell
Supply Company, later Bradley Caldwell, based in Trenton NJ and Hazleton, PA.
He lived for many years in Drums, PA.
In 1995, Bob earned his private pilot license and found joy in flying his Piper
Cherokee. After retiring in 2018, he followed a new passion – cooking – by
enrolling in culinary classes at Luzerne County Community College. A lifelong
learner, Bob had an insatiable curiosity and love of knowledge that enriched every
stage of his life. He enjoyed relaxing with a cigar and loved to travel and cruise.
His favorite destination was New Orleans.
