Phillip Don Julian November 16,1947-February 26,2022 Nickname LG Wife Carol Christine Julian Since the day we met LG and I have journeyed side by side, seldom apart for more than a day. It hasn't always been easy roads but we traveled the distance no matter how arduous together. We are passionate people so there were fireworks and on occasion they were more noise than awe inspiring displays of fire and color. There was laughter and a sense of security in knowing we were sharing the journey with the one we loved most. LG is now on a journey that we will share once again only he will be a few steps ahead of me. I know he will wait with love until I am beside him again. There is no other place I wish to be than beside my LG. I I am so grateful for every second of his love. He was one of five brothers and has two sisters born to Milton and Virginia Julian. He loved being a big brother to his sisters Jamie and Kimie recalling with fondness taking them to the movies when they were young. He was devoted and dedicated to his family. He called his wife an angel and his children cherubs. He claimed our love was his piece of heaven. He was preceded in death by beloved son William Alexander. His daughters Christine Marie Scates and Nastassia Yike blessed him with his much adored grandchildren Alexandra Benel, Max Scates, Abby Scates and Jack Yike and Amelia Yike. His son Ben Julian remembers his unique sense of humor and legacy of love and kindness. He cherished all his children and grandchildren often sharing his passion for soccer and nature. He coached their soccer teams, attended Indian Princess and volunteered at both children and grandchildren PSTA among other activities. Fond memories were created during the family tradition of eating at Joe's Moms Place every Friday. He had a big heart, a very passionate man who was generous, kind, and quick to forgive. He was an Alumni of UNC Chapel Hill and NCSU majoring in Advanced Math and Computer Science. He was one of five brothers and has two sisters born to Milton and Virginia Julian.
