Paula Odom

Ms. Paula Odom was the daughter of Mrs. Ada Lee Wooten and Mr. Raeford Odom. She was born in Rocky Mount on April 30, 1959. Ms. Paula departed this earthly life on April 2, 2021. As she transitioned, she was not alone as she was with her children right beside her. Ms. Paula Odom did a lot volunteer work she took care of kids in the neighborhood; she worked at soup kitchen in Rocky Mount, North Carolina as well as, she worked at the school system where she received a degree in working with kids with handicaps. That was her gift and passion. If somebody need a helping hand, she was always there for them. Her love and patience was astounding. To know this beautiful soul was to love her. She leaves to cherish her never ending memories: Ms. Nasshekia Sharon Odom, Mr. Dashekia C. Odom, Jr. and Lashekia Sophia Odom; one brother, Mr. Raeford Odom; two sisters: Mrs. Ada Lucas and Mrs. Eunice White. And, to welcome her home in Heaven: Mr. Ephraim Odom, Mr. Jessie James Odom, Mr. Tom Lee Odom, Mr. Jimmy Lee Odom; one sister, Mrs. Janice Odom; and Mrs. Ada Lee Wooten Odom and Mr. Raeford Odom declaring, "welcome home, welcome home, our sister have come home.
