Tyler-Haynie 08/05/1953-01/07/2003 A host of 23 nieces and 33 nephew Michael Tyler received his angel wings on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the age of 66. He valiantly battled Lupus for several years, standing on the front lines of the battlefield, facing his foe while fighting for life until his last day. Michael Tyler graduated from Burke College in New York, recognizing the significance of education for a brighter future. As a young adult, he was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying basketball and football. Additionally, he dedicated time to coaching his son's little league team. He enjoyed his family life. He served as a supervisor at a title insurance company, In New York for a decade before relocating to North Carolina for a fresh start. After settling down in North Carolina, he dedicated 20 years of service to the Department of Corrections before retiring. Guided by the Creator, Allah, Michael's discovery of Prophet Noble Drew Ali marked one of the most enlightening moments in his life. In 2019, he declared his nationality as Moorish American and became a faithful follower of the movement." As he delved deeper into Moorish Science literature, his understanding sharpened. He devoted countless hours to reading, studying various scholars, and engaging in conversations with fellow Moors across the state and country. His eagerness to learn and openness made him a true student of Moorish Science. Some of his most enjoyable experiences was to visit other moors out of the state to be taught about different areas of Moorish Science History. He was preceded in death by his sister Regina D. Tyler-Haynie 08/05/1953-01/07/2003 His Homegoing Celebration will be held 12 June 2024 at 12:pm at Lori Funeral Homes and Cremation service, Raleigh NC.
