Marvin Williams

Marvin Williams was born January 13, 1939 in New York, New York to his mother, Katie Williams. Marvin Williams was educated in the New York School System. He was employed by the City of Raleigh and a local car wash named Sudz. Marvin Williams was proceeded in death by wife Dorothy Williams. Mother Katie Williams; Sisters: Thelma and Elizabeth; Brothers: Teddy, Horace and Leo. Marvin Williams is survived by his children: Two daughters Markina Reynolds and Renee Williams both of Raleigh; Four sons: Timothy Martin (Angela), Dell Marlowe, Tommy Martin and Marvin Williams all of Raleigh. Marvin Williams leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Marvin Williams was awarded Manager of the Year several times from Sudz. He later Retired from the City of Raleigh Sanitation. Funeral slated for 1 pm Tuesday, May 8th, 2018 at Lori's Funeral Home Chapel, 1014 Garner Rd., Raleigh, NC. The burial will take place at MontLawn Memorial Park, Raleigh NC. The visitation will take place at the Funeral Home Chapel Monday, May 7th from 4-7 pm.
