Marian Lois Williams Cooley

Marian Lois Williams Cooley passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026 at the Laurels of Forest Glen in Garner, NC.  

Marion Lois, and she was affectionally called, was the wife of Clinton Cooley. They shared a beautiful life together. She was the mother of Chandra and Nicholas McNeil whom she loved with all of her heart.  A woman of virtue, she in addition, accepted her stepson, Maurice as her own. She loved him and he loved her as well.

She was so very proud of her grandchildren, and could be found speaking about them, their careers and how they loved her and showered her with love.

 Funeral arrangements are being planned and will be announced once finalized.  Please keep our family lifted in prayer as Marion was so loved and adored by her family, the Blount Street/Smithfield Community, Green Chapel Church and by all who knew her.
