Obituary Sunrise October 19, 1994 Sunset February 16, 2024 Logan Alan Beckwith, Son of Lisa W. Beckwith and Levi Alfonso Beckwith, Jr., was born on October 19, 1994, In Raleigh, North Carolina. Logan attended Enloe High School and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. He furthered his education at American Public University towards a business degree. Logan was very intelligent in school and was always dedicated to his life ambitions. Logan was a trio in the Art Industry. He modeled at John Casablancas, He was an Actor and a Ballet dancer! After High School Logan chose to focus and pursue his dance career because of his love and passion for dancing. He cherished performing arts so much that his path directed him into ballet. Logan was very intrigued and knowledgeable of the Russian lifestyle, for which he educated him in pursuing an extension of his path. To Logan dancing was his form of freedom on earth, it is where his light shone, where he could reach his highest peak. in his words "Dance is my Religion." It captured his heart, and he was such an angelic dancer. He performed in The Nutcracker for three years at a Professional Institute called Carolina Ballet. This production was a classical ballet centered around Christmas which was one of his favorite holidays! Logan continued his dance career at The Dance Center with his Dance Instructors (Cindy Blevins and Eileen Juric) whom he admired and loved so much. They treated Logan like he was their son; he was safe and secure. His mother said, "As a mother, it was a proud feeling to know others loved him the way I do." Logan's dream came true when he went to New York to audition and was selected to be a part of the "Great Ballet" called The Bolshoi. Logan was an amazing soul with a magnetic energy for others to connect with and see. His smile would light up any room. People described him as sweet love, with passion, he was selfless, and genuine. He helped everyone (especially the homeless) and would give his last to anyone. He was such a fun, funny, and compassionate person to be around. Logan loved to cook and bake for family and loved ones. His homemade pound cakes were amazing, and he would bake for Weddings and Birthdays. Some of His favorite dishes were pizza, rice and beans, and his "mommy's" Mac and Cheese. Through his expression, he played the piano, loved to ride bikes, swim, the gym, walk, horseback riding, and so much more. Logan leaves a legacy of love, support, loyalty, commitment, and dedication that will carry on through the lives of every person he inspires. Logan leaves to cherish his precious memories; his mother Lisa W. Beckwith and father Levi Alfonso Beckwith Jr. and their children, Lance Alexander Beckwith (Chaquinta Beckwith), Lydia Alexis Beckwith, & Levi Alfonso Beckwith III; his nephew Lance Alexander Beckwith, Jr.; his brother Laden Beckwith; his late grandmother, Pauline B. Wesley; his grandpa, Reginald B. Wesley (he called Logan Al, and was his caregiver for 2 years); his grandfather Levi Alfonso Beckwith, Sr; his grandmother Artelia (Faydeen) Burt-Alston (Tim Alston); his Uncles Charles Burrell (Janel) Landon Beckwith and Alan Beckwith, his Aunts Jackie W. Hyman (Anthony); Lisa Roddey (Tim), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Dear friends: Doris Jones, Melinda Spivey Funeral arrangements are as follows: 12 Noon on Friday, February 23, 2024. The Visitation will begin at 12 Noon followed by the Celebration of His Life Ceremony at 12:30 pm at Lori's Funeral Home Corporate Office/Galleria located at 1110 Holmes Street, Raleigh, NC 27610.
