Josephine Patillo, 75, passed away on June 16, 2025, in Fuquay Varina, NC.

Born on January 10, 1950, Josephine was a graduate of Person High School. She began her

professional life in the hospitality industry as a restaurant server and later transitioned to a role

with UNC Environmental Services, where she continued to serve others with dedication.

Josephine was known for her big heart and her ability to bring laughter into any room. Her

sense of humor and caring nature left a lasting impression on those around her. She found joy

in life’s simple pleasures—taking long walks, listening to music, reading novels, solving

crossword puzzles, and watching her favorite soap operas.

She is lovingly remembered by her son Chad Patillo and daughter-in-law Heather Patillo; her

brother Milton Patillo and sister-in-law Virginia Patillo; her sister Jostina Patillo; and several

nieces and nephews.

Josephine was preceded in death by her father William Houston Patillo, mother Fannie

Bradsher Patillo, twin brother Joseph Patillo, and brother Bobby Forest Patillo.

No memorial services are planned at this time.
