John Stevens

John C. Stevens John passed away at Clayton Medical on October 26th 2022. He was born in Columbus Georgia on July 6th 1958 to Frederick and Dorothy Stevens. His love of music gave him the ambition and talent to learn, play, and sing along with his guitar, banjo, harmonica, and warsh board. He enjoyed playing and singing with his family at the (Gittin Place) with a little bit of Bahama Mama. He enjoyed taking his family camping and fishing he was famous for his biscuits and gravy and schnitzel. He had many trades, carpentry and leatherworking being his favorites. His artistic ability in these crafts was unsurpassed. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Mike Stevens and his beloved pet BoBo. He is survived by the Love of his life Loretta Luther and his two sons John Paul Stevens and Frederick Stevens,and daughters Chrissy Eddins, Erica Crouch (Bobby) Campbell, and his brothers Daniel T.(Mary Beth) Stevens, Paul (Danielle) McLaughlin, Brian(Tina) McLaughlin, Danny McLaughlin, and sister Mary McLaughlin. Grandchildren Joe Cross, Wyatt, Warren, and Douglas Campbell. His two "Fur Babies" SoSo and BeBe. he will be greatly missed by his family. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
