Jenell Ligons lived a life full of faith, resilience, and love. Born in Georgia and raised in Detroit, she grew into a creative and compassionate woman who overcame challenges with strength and grace. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, always finding joy in serving others and lifting spirits with her humor, hospitality, and music.
Later in life, she relocated to North Carolina, embraced her artistic side through painting, jewelry making, journaling, and playing the piano. She was known for her warm smile, her love of entertaining, and her gift for bringing joy to any gathering.
Jenell is survived by her sons Anthony and Nathaniel, daughter-in-law Annette, stepdaughters Pamela and Najean, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. She will be remembered as a teacher, artist, and servant whose legacy of faith and creativity continues to inspire.
