Mr. Homer Lennon transitioned on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. Arrangements are final, and are as follows: 12 Noon Celebration of Life Ceremony, slated for Saturday, February 20th at the Funeral Home Chapel . The family has prepared a Guest List, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Homer Jimmy Lennon, Sr. was born to the late Buck and Gladys Lennon. He was born on January 28, 1938, in Bladen County In North Carolina. He was the 2nd oldest of 7 children. He met and married for a period of time Ester Ocoltree, They had 1 son and decided to move to Miami, Florida. They had 3 more children, in 1980 he decided he wanted to move back to North Carolina. He moved to Raleigh and lived in Glenwood Towers until his passing. He leaves to cherish his memories: His Sons Jimmy Jr. (Veronder), Stephen Sr. (Sharon), Samuel; 1 Daughter Pamela (Marvin); Grand Children: Tony, Stephen Jr., Sacloria, Stephanie, Willie, Taylor, and Jimmy Allen; 8 Great Grand Children, 2 Brothers Roland (Marva), Tony (Phyllis), 1 sister Arleen (James), 1 sister-in-law Katie. One very devoted niece Shana, and a host of Nieces and Nephews and other Relatives and Friends. * He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Fairley Sr., Alton and 1 sister, Mable.
