Elijah Rashad Mcdonald

Elijah Rashard McDonald was born on July 30, 2001 in Bayonne, New Jersey to Nicole Sims and the late Carl McDonald. Elijah entered into eternal rest on December 25, 2023. Elijah received his education in Jersey City Public School #34 and Athens Drive Magnet High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Elijah received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Elijah known as Beans and Lij, played football in high school. He was a devoted fan of the New York Giants. Elijah had a very big heart and a smile that lit up any room he walked in. He was humorous, supportive, strong-willed, loyal and loved his family. Elijah had an unbreakable bond with his mother that was beyond measure. He was and still is her "SONshine" through the good and indifferent. Elijah knew his mother was his biggest supporter. Elijah was predeceased by his beloved father: Carl McDonald, sister: Nyasha McDonald, uncles: William and Ezekiel Sims, aunt: Deidre McDonald, great-grandmother: Margie Bell and brother: Sahmir Bullard. Elijah leaves a legacy of love to his beloved mother, Nicole Sims, grandfather: William Sims, grandmothers: Kim Sims and Linda McDonald, great-grandmother: Maggie Graham, uncles: Ryan, Charles (Talaya) and Nolan Sims, Leon (Sakina) and Rondell McDonald, aunts: Hakimah Graham, Asha (TaShawn) Harper, Amber Martin and Florissa (John) Baldwin, special cousins: Wykia Sims, Tynasia Emanuel, Tynordria Ellerbee (Nana), Kayson Nalls, Nyshun Morris Khalil and Tyheem Vance, special friends: Ny-asia Battle, Frankie Lester, Wanyea Bynum, dog: Leo and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
