Dexter Ivan Watson

Mr. Dexter Ivan Watson of Garner (a.k.a. Padre), 59, passed away on August 8, 2023 at 775 E. Garner Road, Garner, NC 27529. Please keep his beloved Family in prayer. Dexter was Mr. Garner himself, the entire Garner Community adored him. Dexter assisted the elderly with such compassion, as well as anyone that needed his assistance. He had a heart of pure gold. For many years Dexter detailed for Auto Marine Service, as well as was a welcoming spirit at Greg's Barbershop on New Rand Road where he spent countless hours with his best friend, Greg Hinton as well as every person that entered the shop. He will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his beloved Mother, Gertrude B. Watson of the Home, Brothers: Altaschith Badger (Arlene) of Cary and Greg Watson of Garner; Sister, Sandra Watson; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements are slated for 11 AM on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Solid Rock Ministries International located at 401 Creech Road, Garner. The burial will follow at Rand Street Church Cemetery.
