Cynthia Lafountaine

Cynthia Gaye LaFountaine passed away Sept. 21, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Wise County VA on April 7th, 1961 to Alexander and Mary Luther. Lived Most of her life in Ashtabula, Ohio She attended Ashtabula High School. She worked doing janitorial cleaning for 12 years. She enjoyed watching Bob Ross and Jeopardy, playing cards, especially skip-bo, feeding the birds and squirrels, and going on hikes. She loved spending time with family and her two dogs Sammy and Sassy. She never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. She is survived by her Soul Mate Jim Schuyler and siblings, Loretta Luther and Annesia Ferguson of Middlesex, NC, Pamela Luther Carlisle of Geneva, Ohio, and Annette Leonard of Santan Valley, and her 3 children, Harry Lafountaine of Salamanca, New York, and daughters Amber Carson of Painesville Ohio, and Cheyenne Lafountaine Phelps of Madison,Ohio. She also had 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Alexander Luther, James Luther, and Ruby Estes. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
