Dear Mom, I want you to know you mean the world to me. Only a heart so dear as yours would give so unselfishly. You make me laugh, you love, you care when I need help, you're always there. You are my rock, my anchor, my tutor, and my friend. My guardian angel and the source of my strength. I might not say it often, but I appreciate all you do. I am truly blessed for having a mom just like you. I thank you and love you so much. Obituary Bridgette A. Walker slipped away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 56, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She passed away at UNC hospital, listening to her favorite tv channel, "The Food Network" surrounded by her children. Bridgette truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, snacking and spending time at the beach with her grandsonDiedrich Lancaster. She had a passion for cooking and baking. Bridgette and her grandson would spend hours in the kitchen making delicious meals.
