In Loving Memory of Betty Ann Patacco
Betty Ann Patacco passed away peacefully surrounded by love after a life defined by strength, determination, devotion to family, and a spirit that could never be broken.
Born to Elsie Pearl and David Francis, Betty Ann was raised alongside her brothers Earl, William, and David, and her sister Janet, all of whom preceded her in death.
Anyone who knew Betty Ann knew one thing for certain—she was stubborn. But that stubbornness was one of her greatest gifts. Time and time again, when others thought she might give in, Betty Ann found a way to keep going. Through life's challenges, heartbreaks, illnesses, and difficult days, she faced them with a determination that was uniquely her own. She never backed down easily, and she never let circumstances define her.
Betty Ann was truly one of a kind. She had her own way of doing things, her own opinions, and her own unmistakable spirit. She could make us laugh, frustrate us, inspire us, and love us all at the same time. Her strength carried her through hardships and showed her family what perseverance truly looks like.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael David, and by her former husband and the father of her children, Donald J. Heyner.
Betty Ann leaves behind her loving husband of 25 years, Joseph Patacco, who shared countless memories, laughter, and companionship with her.
She is also survived by her daughter, Maureen Elizabeth Strangio, husband Andrew, and granddaughter Rebecca Ann; her son Donald Joseph Heyner Jr., wife Gia, and grandson Donnie Samuel; as well as many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by her kindness, strength, and unwavering love.
Betty Ann also leaves behind her cherished dog, Daisy, who brought her comfort and companionship.
Above all else, Betty Ann loved her family. She was a mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend whose love was fierce and enduring. Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in the memories she leaves behind and in the lessons she taught us through her resilience, courage, and unconditional love.
Her legacy will live on in the family she cherished, the lives she touched, and the countless memories that will forever be held close by those who loved her.
Betty Ann will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
