Marvin Danny Vaughan

Marvin "Danny" Vaughn, 71 of 6220 Old Fairground Road, died 10/26 at his home in Benson. The Funeral ceremony will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 3 PM at Lori's Funeral Home Chapel, 1014 Garner Road, Raleigh, NC. Danny was born in Louisburg, NC by his mother Elizabeth Vaughan. Growing up he had three sisters and one brother.He met the love of his life, his "Rosebud" Jennifer "monkey" at the country lounge in Wake Forest, NC. They moved in together with his mother and father in-law, Harold and Faye Cook. That's where their family and love began to grow. They got married August 16th of 1986 and spent 39 beloved years together. He became a father of two that he raised as his own, Dee and Charlie and together they had a son named Daniel. He became a grandfather in Feb of 96 to Steven. Their favorite memories together were the trips to Maggie valley and to Carolina Beach. He was a devoted, loving and hardworking man for his wife and family. He loved his job at Ben's Towing for he worked with them for four years when he was then diagnosed with cancer. Danny continued to work up to 3 months before his passing. Danny fought his cancer battle for three years. The Lord finally called him home Oct. 26th and though he took all the pain and suffering he had away, He will he missed more than words can explain. Danny was survived by His wife Jennifer "Monkey" Vaughn. His living sisters; Virginia Ripely and Gloria Cooke His living Brother and Sister In-Laws; John "p-nut" cook, Rhonda Walston and Jackie Carter; His Children; Daniel Owens, Charlie Owens and Dee Dickerson, 11 grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren 5 Nieces and 3 Nephews.
